A sustainable solution for the climate and food problem

The world’s population is rising, the summers are becoming drier and warmer, the fresh water is becoming scarcer and in 2017 the worldwide hunger problem has increased instead of declining. The solution for these problems is already here, the Groasis Ecological Water Saving Technology. Do you want to be a part of this revolution? Keep on reading and find out how you can easily invest in a better world.

Water scarcity due to the production of food

Around 70 to 85% of all fresh water is used for the production of food. For example, a lot of water is needed for the production of meat, but also for vegetables and other foodstuffs. On average, a Dutch person alone needs 3,450 liters of water per day for food and drinks. Can you believe this?

Consider, for example, the areas where the water is already scarce. It is a shame to ‘waste’ the water for the production of food, while the need for water to drink is also high. Often, there are no financial resources in dry areas to install irrigation systems or it is difficult to get large amounts of water.

With the products of the Groasis Ecological Water Saving Technology, such as the biodegradable Growboxx® plant cocoon, over 90% less water is used when compared to drip irrigation or other irrigation methods. In addition, no electricity is needed to use the intelligent buckets and one strong rainfall is enough to refill the buckets!

Accessible to even the smallest farmer

The Growboxx® plant cocoon makes it possible for even the smallest and poorest farmer in a dry climate to maintain his family and earn money by growing vegetables in combination with productive trees (such as fruit, oil, wood). The harvest is so high per square meter that the bucket can be financed and there is enough left to feed the family and generate an income.

Not only the families are helped, but also our planet. The productive trees disconnect CO₂ from the atmosphere, the soil becomes more fertile over time and the water level does not drop further.

You can see above how much water drip irrigation needs during the day and over a year. The advantage of the Groasis products is that – depending on the climate, soil and annual rainfall – no extra water is needed. A planter only needs 60 liters of water while planting the tree. 20 to 40 liters of water are used in the planting hole before the tree is planted. The remaining 16 to 20 liters are used to fill the intelligent bucket. Watch this video to see how it works.

Planting trees despite the climate problem? With the help of Groasis it becomes possible! We can grow enough food to feed the world.

April 24, 2018 – Various Growboxxes have been planted in a simple greenhouse in Mexico. The lemon trees yield fruit in the long term. Vegetables are planted in the lid of the box, which produce fruit in the short term.

The climate problem doesn't have to be a problem - enough food can be produced for the whole world

August 10, 2018 – 4.5 months after planting, the Podesta family can already sell the first yield on the local market. With a part of these revenues the boxes can be financed. So they have a debt-free orchard.

How can you contribute to the solution for the climate and food problem?

Together we can give our planet a better future. By efficiently planting many trees, CO₂ can be disconnected in the most simple and profitable way. But, to conduct this on a large scale, financial resources are needed. That is one of the reasons that we have established Friends of Groasis and for which we plan to issue Digital Security Offerings later this year. You can become a share-certificateholder in Groasis!

We now offer digital depositary receipts for share-certificates, so that you can become a co-owner of Groasis from a small contribution. Visit our Groasis Investor platform to participate.
